"Head prefect"

During my last year at Bedford Road I was head prefect. Miss Williams introduced prefects to the school under our last Head Mistress Miss King we did not have them. I was Joyce Bovill now Boyd. I Married Les Boyd also a pupil at the school in 1956, we are still together and in touch with a few other pupils. Among them Alma Tear, Lea Speed, Betty Griffiths & Mildred Alan.
