"Benefit of the doubt?"

We chose to purchase some worktops for our new kitchen from The Worktop Centre Liverpool. A mistake in the cutting size of our worktops (200mmm too short), then subsequent failed promises of re-delivery, set our job back by FIVE days... Extremely stressful when trying to get the kitchen finished on a deadline. The shop was not willing to offer anything in the way of compensation either for the inconvenience, only a better deal on anything else we wanted to buy from them. Very disappointing. Otherwise the staff are friendly and down to earth and they stock a wide variety of worktops. If not for the severe delays and lack of effort to compensate they might have got five stars in this review.

It's obvious that for my one negative experience there might be hundreds of happy customers who don't feel the need to write a review, but I felt strongly enough about my experience to do so. Will you give them the benefit of the doubt?.
