A review of Merseyside Society For Deaf People by Norah written on Tuesday 30th of April 2013
Chris ,and interpreter ( so sorry your name has gone)came to assess my elderly aunt. My aunt has two hearing aids and now has real trouble hearing anything.they arrived exactly the time they said. Spoke to my two aunts (76 & 84) quickly grasped what what needed fitted and tested Four pieces of equipment in an hour! They did so in a caring and understanding way, my aunt has a mild learning disability, but also were efficient. Not being able to hear the tv was a real problem for my aunt. Now she can enjoy all her favourite programmes again but also she can hear the door bell, the phone (and see thanks to her flashing light alarm) an has her own alarm clock which fit under her pillow. She is delighted she now doesn't have to rely on someone else the o wake her! Finally Chris referred to LMH to ensure the smoke alarm is also adapted for her needs. I have NEVER COME a cross such h an efficient service. They were absolutely spot on.
