"Past its best"

Went to marantos for a meal on saturday night. had a table booked but was put in the worst seat in the restaurant, asked politely to move and was rudely told place was full and i would have to go and wait in bar for 30 mins, there were empty tables around! head waiter very brusque, no niceties, glum and unhelpful. food came which was quite nice but we did not receive vegetables which should have come with meal. whole place relying on its past reputation, and badly needs revamping and modernising still looks like something out of 1985. sorry we left a tip as staff did not deserve it. 2 out of 10 marantos..
