A review of St Pauls Eye Hospital by A Burscough Lad written on Monday 4th of January 2010
I have had three full ops, all on the left eye. During each stay in St Paul's, I was well looked after. One Saturday morning, after an emergency admission the night before, I was examined by THREE consultants
However, there was a memorable flash of Scouse, when I asked one of the ancillary staff, "What does ISS mean on your uniform?"
Without a pause, the response was, "I serve Sh**!"
Not quite true, food was as good as at other hospitals.
