"Be careful of the evening rate."

I have just used the Queen Square car park because of the evening rate (£2.50) as I was taking my mum to the theatre. We decided to go for a bite to eat first so arrived just after ten to six. When I got back to my car after the show I was shocked to find that I was being charged £9.00. Because the evening rate doesn't start until 6 o'clock I was charged at full rate for the entire evening!.
